1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to jeh jeh! By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application ("jeh jeh" or the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

jeh jeh is a household management platform designed for Hong Kong families and their domestic helpers. It provides features including task management, meal planning, shopping lists, stock tracking, and internal communication.

3. Accounts and Security

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (e.g., password) and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers or networks connected to our services.
  • Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, infringing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software) are our property and are protected by Hong Kong and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App services.

7. Fees and Payments

jeh jeh offers a free trial and paid subscription plans. If applicable, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the then-current pricing. All fees are in Hong Kong dollars (HKD) and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to change prices at any time with prior notice via the App.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services, or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer:

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, jeh jeh and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to jeh jeh (if any) in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your use of the App, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. You may also terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account via the App settings.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
